A documentary for Denmark’s national broadcaster TV 2, revealing how a new migrant underclass in Denmark is ruthlessly exploited by housing predators. Charging thousands of kroner for a bed in overcrowded rooms, these slumlords profit from the most vulnerable newcomers and fuel the rise of a hidden parallel society on the margins of Danish cities. Danish-Mexican journalist Isabel Morales went undercover for seven months to expose the abusive and often illegal conditions hidden behind closed doors.
