​A documentary series for Denmark’s national broadcaster TV 2, Cry for Help in the Night goes undercover in residential homes for the disabled, exposing shocking cases of neglect and abuse against some of society’s most vulnerable. Using hidden cameras and inside sources, the series reveals how residents were ignored during cries for help, left unsupervised, or pressured to stay silent about their conditions. After the broadcasts, authorities launched investigations and some facilities faced demands for closure.
